The International Conference on Marine Technology (MARTEC) took place from 11th December to 12th December 2010 at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). It was organized by the Department of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering of BUET. The motto of MARTEC 2010 was enhancing shipbuilding through research, innovation, and collaboration. The objectives of this conference were to encourage better cooperation between academic institutions and industries, to strengthen regional and international networking, and also to provide a forum for sharing knowledge among regional and international researchers in the field of marine technology.
