On 31st July and 1st August 2025, the Department of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering arranged a special two-day relaxation tour for faculty members and their families at the beautiful Sarah Resort, Gazipur. The purpose of the trip was to give everyone a refreshing break from their busy schedules, spend quality time together, and enjoy the natural beauty and fun activities the resort offers.

The program was filled with exciting and memorable moments for everyone. During the day, participants explored the scenic surroundings through sightseeing trips, enjoyed the calm waters while boating and kayaking, and experienced the thrill of swimming, zip-lining and other adventure activities. These activities gave faculty members and their families a chance to unwind, try new experiences, and share fun-filled moments together.

In the evening, the atmosphere came alive with cultural performances. The cultural night offered something for all ages- children’s events that kept the youngest participants engaged, game shows for adults that inspired friendly competition, as well as music and storytelling that brought everyone together.

The tour was not only a chance to relax but also an opportunity for colleagues and their families to connect more closely outside the workplace. It strengthened friendships, built memories, and left everyone feeling recharged. The department sincerely thanks all who helped organize and participate in making these two days such a delightful and memorable experience.
